A small senior team building AI-native software for the public sector and beyond.
We are five engineers. Everyone designs, builds and tests; there is no separate management layer. We work with AI agents every day, and every deliverable is reviewed by a person before it ships. If you want to own a product end to end and see it used by real agencies — and, soon, by customers outside Korea — this is that kind of place.
How we work
Product work and project work
Revenue comes from two sides: our four products and public-sector projects. You build features against the product roadmap, then put that product to work on a real project and see how it holds up in an agency environment.
Senior by default
You work directly with engineers who have 15-24 years of experience and wrote the books on their areas. Design reviews and code reviews go through them.
AI as a daily tool
Code generation, review and documentation run through AI agents. People make the decisions and sign off.
Areas we hire for
Open application. There is no fixed vacancy list — tell us what you want to build.
Backend engineer
Build new MORU business packs and integrate them with agency systems. Java, Spring Boot, eGovFrame 5.0, PostgreSQL / MariaDB / Oracle. Air-gapped deployment and batch operations are a plus.
Frontend engineer
Build public portals and admin screens to KRDS and Korean web accessibility standards. React, TypeScript. You also maintain our open-source KRDS component library.
AI engineer
Own retrieval and answer quality in MORU's document AI, and the reasoning behind BidEye and Salgot scores. LLM applications, retrieval augmentation, evaluation. On-premise model serving is a plus.
Static analysis · Go
Extend the RULIX rule engine and parsers. Add languages and rules on top of the existing 535, and keep the single binary that goes into air-gapped networks. Go.
Working conditions
Employment
Full-time, with a three-month probation period.
Location
Our office in Gasan Digital Complex, Seoul. Public-sector projects sometimes require working on site at the client agency, and during those periods you follow that agency's hours.
Compensation
Agreed after the final interview, based on your experience and current package.
Equipment and tools
We cover your machine and your AI coding tool subscriptions, and we support writing and publishing a technical book in your area.
